movement
The body is often first to call out for our attention, for support, and for our kindness.
The human body is movement, movement composed of millions of years of earthen and cosmic moving intelligence—a thread, a continuum, of potency that is encoded within us, and in the elemental world around us. With consciousness, this moving intelligence can be honed as a potent healing force.
Movement sessions are a space to listen—to explore what your body already knows, to move beyond old patterns, and to experience movement as a direct path to healing, grounding, and possibility.
Movement sessions offer access to the experience of deep, authentic, embodiment. The body becomes a portal to relaxation, presence, and deep support—no matter our challenges.
The ways we move, think, and feel are shaped by our conditioning—cultural patterns, personal history, and trauma. These imprints articulate through the body and influence how we perceive, think, feel, and act.
Chronic physical pain, emotional distress, and physical injury can feed a loop of hope and fear—a loop that exacerbates difficulties, and potentially contributes to ‘mystery’ symptoms that are difficult to address, without a clear cause or solution.
Movement sessions are an opportunity to experience a radically new relationship to the body:
Discover the body’s innate intelligence and healing potential through movement.
Physical struggles become alchemical fuel for the experience of wholeness.
Vitality, presence, and relaxation are experiential moving realities in your own body—embodied supports that can be returned to again and again for nourishment and healing.
If you experience chronic pain, stress, or physical tension—or if you want a deeper, more grounded connection to your body—these sessions offer a potent portal to access relief, ease, and resilience.
Sessions (60-75 minutes) include:
Conversation & Exploration (15-20 min): We discuss what’s present for you—your curiosities, struggles, and desires.
Guided Movement & Somatic Healing (40-55 min): A deep journey into movement, breath, and awareness, that specifically tailored to your needs and interests, and drawing on a variety of modalities from Josh’s two decades of somatic training.
Each session is an invitation to experience your body as a wellspring of wisdom, healing, and aliveness.
